Rhythm of The Day
With endless possibilities, there’s never a dull moment at Guardian and no two days are the same. Here’s what a day at Guardian might look like. Please note, this will vary depending on centre opening hours.
-
Morning
Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.
-
Morning
Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.
-
Morning
As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.
-
Morning
As the children come together, planned experiences begin. This is where the Guardian programs and practices come to life. Examples of learning include numeracy, literacy, language, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, social skills, technology, science, creative arts, curiosity and more.
-
Morning
There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.
-
Mid-morning
Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.
-
Afternoon
There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.
-
Afternoon
For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.
-
Afternoon
Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.
-
End of the day
As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.
-
End of the day
Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

My daughter has been attending Guardian Childcare at Seacombe Gardens for several months now, and we couldn’t be happier. The educators are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s development. The centre is clean, safe, and well-equipped with engaging learning resources and fun activities.I’ve noticed such positive changes in my child’s confidence, language skills, and social interactions. Communication with parents is excellent — we receive regular updates, photos, and insights into what the kids are learning each day. It truly feels like a community.I highly recommend Guardian Childcare to any parent looking for a nurturing and high-quality early learning environment!
We moved interstate last year in July and started our child's care in Guardian seacombe Gardens. Initially we were worried how our child will settle but interestingly it didn't take long for her to settle in. The best thing about Guardian is that there is continuity with educators which builds trust and we felt at ease sending our child . We saw that our child was happy to go to daycare than stay at home. Food is amazing. It's very hygienic. They have high standards of practice. They are good with incident reporting and communication. We are so happy with Guardian childcare Seacombe Gardens. We highly recommend them if you want to send your child to daycare.
My son has be going here for 4 years and was one of the original kids to start here and I I can not speak anymore highly about this centre it’s been amazing.Maggie m and DiDi have been unbelievable for my son. They have been so caring and thoughtful.Thank you 🙏

Genuinely one of the best!
We have been so happy here since day 1. Our son absolutely loves his educators and has built strong connections with them. They have prepared him really well for transition to the next room - we couldn't be happier! The food is amazing, staff are happy and consistently great. Communication is easy with the leadership team too - any questions we've had from an admin side have been dealt with efficiently and happily. We're very grateful we came to Guardian Seacombe Gardens.
Great, staff, great facilities, great chef. All Round great day care centre
Overall, the staffing is stable so my child has an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the educators, and they understand her needs and learning in a holistic way. The centre appears well resourced, activities are varied every day for engagement, and all are clearly aligned to early childhood curriculum. Our child enjoys the food and the chef is well known and liked by the children, even involving them in food preparation where appropriate. Communication from centre management is regular which makes us as parents feel even more connected to the centre.
This centre is great. My bubs started here at 6 months and have felt comfortable since day 1. Amazing staff and educators who are extremely caring. Very clean centre and great chef with good food options for the kiddies.

My son has been at Guardian Seacombe Gardens since September! Myself and my partner could not be happier with the centre and the amazing staff, we moved our son from a community centre as we were told they were better than the big chain ones but guardian Seacombe Gardens has proved that theory wrong! The staff go above and beyond for not only the children but their families especially in tough times. They always update us on the children’s day via story park and newsletters are sent out which allows us to keep up to date with the centre news and the food our little one is eating. We are that happy with the centre we have our little girl starting in august! 10/10 recommend, I feel so relaxed dropping my children off with the girls because I know they’re in safe hands 🤍
Lovely staff, Modern and clean centre, and happy with the level of care and attention.
My boys have been attending the centre for almost 6 months now. Nothing but positive things to say about the team at Seacomb gardens. From day dot my boys have been welcomed with open arms. At first I was worried about how they would adjust but they quickly bonded with the educators and eat better than they do at home! Have recommended family and friends go here also and will continue to do so!😁❤️

Amazing educators and an amazing chef! My daughter loves going here!
Cannot fault the centre! Clean, caring, organised. My little guy is so happy and nurtured there and is also learning a lot of new things.
Love the centre's atmosphere and the rooms look very nice. The educators are always approachable. My kids love going there.
Our little boy started at Guardian Seacombe Gardens just before his 1st birthday. After many tours of other ELCs, we from day one felt welcome, safe and sense of warmth from the team. Every week I’m blown away by the educators commitment, communication and pride they take in they’re work. I am beyond grateful for the whole team at seacombe gardens, our little man loves it there, and I know he is in wonderful care each day.

The educators are friendly & welcoming. The same educators work with our child & get to know his personality well. They also accept the use of cloth nappies which was must for us when choosing a childcare.
My husband and I couldn't be more prouder of the fact that our 6 month baby goes to Guardian Seacombe Gardens. We tell everyone!! The moment we walked through the doors and had our first tour, we immediately felt welcomed and at home. In fact, we even had tears in our eyes knowing that our baby would have the opportunity to be spoiled with love, attention and education. Not only are we happy that we can trust the staff at Guardian, every time we pick our baby up, he is the happiest we see him. We know he's thriving and loving every minute he spends here! Looking forward to continuing a long and wonderful journey at this centre. Katherine and the staff must be congratulated... they are doing wonders!!!

There is so much for little ones to explore at this guardian centre. When it comes time to pick our little one up I often have to chase him around the playground to get him to come home as he would love to stay. The centre has a great feel about it, lots of happy children and all of the staff are amazing. They really keep us updated on how our little ones days have been and they are always planning new and fun activities. We can see our little one learning lots and making some little friends on the way. We would definitely recommend this centre.
