Babies (0 to 2)

A New Chapter for Your Family

Welcoming a baby brings joy and love into your life. As you prepare to return to work or other responsibilities, you might wonder, “Is childcare the right choice for my baby?”

At Guardian, we’re here to reassure you. Our Being with Babies program ensures your baby thrives in a safe, nurturing environment designed for their growth and well-being.

Why Childcare Benefits Babies

Childcare supports your baby’s early development through a blend of care, connection, and play-based learning.

  • By age one, babies learn the sounds of their native language.
  • Routines and interactions foster healthy bonds and resilience.
  • Skilled Educators provide sensory-rich experiences to encourage curiosity and essential skill-building.

We partner with your family to create a supportive, happy experience for your baby. Experienced Chefs prepare healthy, sensory-rich meals tailored to your family’s preferences and culture.

  • Healthy Attachment – Trusting relationships with Educators promote brain development.
  • Daily Rhythms – Predictable routines build a sense of security and confidence.
  • Safe Sleep – Trained Nursery Teams follow safe sleep practices to support physical and emotional well-being.
  • Nourishing Meals – Experienced Chefs prepare healthy, sensory-rich meals tailored to your family’s preferences and culture.

Our early learning centres inspire discovery with age-appropriate toys, sensory activities, and spaces designed for safe exploration.

We want your baby, and your family, to be comfortable in care from day one.

  • The big day: Regular updates from your Nursery Team help you feel confident and connected.
  • Family meeting: Discuss enrolment, immunisations, and your baby’s needs, including their Baby First Foods Passport for dietary preferences.
  • Before your first day: Visit the Centre at least three times before the first day to meet your baby’s Team.

Our Being with Babies program, for children as young as six weeks old, follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to give your baby a safe, nurturing start.
