Our daughters both attended Guardian Childcare in Blackburn South and our experience was really positive. The educators are kind, caring, fun, thoughtful and brilliant at their jobs. (Too many to list but Sal and Ada are an incredible team). The center management team (Ashleigh and Matilda) are supportive and flexible. The center/ facilities are constantly being refreshed and changed around to keep it interesting and offer the kids new learning experiences. So happy that Guardian was a part of our journey. The staff are incredibly nurturing, patient, and genuinely passionate about child development. The team at guardian childcare Blackburn south are fantastic! As a family, you feel part of the community and everyone on the team is there to support you as a family as well as one another in creating a great environment for the kids. The educators are caring, supportive and focused on being attentive to each kid’s needs. They are great at sharing and communicating with the families as an extension of the support and development for the kids. They are proactive in suggesting development areas for each kid and considered in the activities, incursions and excursions they develop for the kids to continue to help with their growth. Our son has been attending Blackburn South for 1.5years and is settled and very connected with the team and the other kids because of this supportive and inclusive environment they create.

Our son has been attending this daycare for over 2 years and we are so happy with our decision to move him here! All of his educators over the years are so genuinely caring and are interested in his development. He eats better here than he does at home, and does more fun and educational activities than he would with me. Ashleigh and Matilda know all the kids too, and are so helpful with any queries we have had! We absolutely love the community vibe, and constantly feel in the loop with all the updates we get. My two kids attended here until we moved homes. The educators have all been lovely and always doing something fun with the kids. Ashleigh and Matilda were always great in helping with casual days and assist where they can. Really appreciated this when there were days my little ones needed care. I will be bringing my kids back here in a few months and look forward to being part of the Guardian family again. Thanks Ashleigh for running the best childcare centre and kinder! Guardian Blackburn south is such a wonderful childcare facility. It feels so warm and welcoming like a home rather than a centre but also with such professionalism, energy and inspiration from the amazing staff. They are extremely nurturing and compassionate. My daughter joined in October and we have been nothing but impressed by the outstanding care our little girl has recieved. We feel reassured that our child is at a place where they will be safe, happy, cared for and will be enriched by a variety of both creative and structured learning. Their attention to detail is outstanding. I personally thank all the educators and the centre manager for putting in all their best possible efforts and supporting us!!!Highly recommend 👍

We've been attending since October 2020 and in particular, we're very happy with the continuity of care that our kids receive. With our families overseas, it's important to us that they know and develop good relationships with their educators and aren't trying to get to know new ones every few weeks. Compared to a previous centre, there's been very few staff changes and many of the staff have been there since we first joined. A new manager in the past few months has also led to better communication with families and efforts to create more of a community for the centre - which wasn't possible during Covid.

My little one has been at this childcare since she was 7 months old. It’s been more than a year and she enjoys it just the same! The centre management and her room educators have changed over time, but the culture of learning and having fun remains. The kids are looked after really well! My kids have been at guardian almost since it opened, and have had wonderful classroom experiences. Lately one of my kids has had some emotional issues, and her educators have been absolutely wonderful in talking and working with me to address what's going on, and help her. She has needed (and received) some extra attention and care, and I couldn't be more appreciative. I feel my daughter is genuinely cared about, which is my primary want in a childcare.

Our son has been attending Guardian Blackburn South since he was 7 months of age. He’s now 2 years old and we have no intention of leaving! The staff are truly phenomenal. I’ve always been confident in the care they have given to our boy - in fact I think they do a better of job of raising him than us! The children are always doing fun activities tailored to their development levels that we simply wouldn’t do at home - either because they’re too messy or we just aren’t creative enough to come up with it! And the meals are 5 star. The children eat better than we do at home - I feel guilty when the weekend comes and I serve up jam sandwiches or something equally boring out of a packet for his lunch. The staff recognise changes in his behaviour and work with us to help weather the storm. They also work with the kids on life skills like cleaning up after themselves. Most importantly, our son really loves his time there and comes home happy every day.

Guardian Blackburn south always goes above and beyond every day. From day one our daughter loved going to Guardian and loved her teachers,felt very comfortable and made lots of friends.The staff, the teachers are loving and caring and always attentive to the child's and the parents needs. Our son's experience @ Guardian Blackburn South in 2019 and 2020 was amazing. He had a great relationship with his carers, from Tina, Jamie, Sarah, Jin Ting, Lyn, Carol, Roja, too many to mention. He always loved leaving the house in the morning, and hated leaving every day. He has made some great friends in his time, and he always has great stories at the end of every day. Congratulations :)

We have been so impressed by the quality of service and care for our two children by the staff at Guardian Blackburn South. Megan, the Centre Director is quick to respond to any queries. All staff are friendly, professional and child-centered. The Kinder teachers make the days fun and provide regular feedback. We feel very comfortable leaving our children there and my children love their childcare days.

We have been sending our child to Guardian from the very start and this center is no different. The management right from the top is very good. They continually engage children in lots of activities and are very responsive to parents requests.The teachers are always keen to spend time and talk to families even if for a minute or two.My child has always enjoyed going to the center and making good friends who they wants to see the next day.

We absolutely love this centre. The staff are all so friendly, experienced and caring. Their attention to detail have made this an extra special place for our son to grow and develop. They have also kept us connected throughout the closure and pandemic so that we continued to feel valued even though we could not attend the centre. The daily feedback is also very valued.

Such an amazing centre. Megan, the centre manager is wonderful, she is genuine and really cares about the children. The staff is very professional, well trained and caring. The staff make an effort to build connections with all children, even if they aren’t the educator for that age group. The centre is very homey,clean, and lots of outdoor playing area.And based on my experience, the staff turnover rate for this Centre is very low compared to other centres. I love this, so kids are able to grow and learn in a consistent approach!

My son is in the kinder room from January and I am absolutely happy with the education and care services, management, hygiene and safety, food and environment there. My son Is going to Guardian blackburn south Since he was 4 month old and now he is 18 months old. I am very happy with the centre and the Staff members are always so friendly, caring and warm. My son shares a very good bond with the educators and misses them while he is home too. Blackburn south is managed in a very clean, hygiene and organised way. If I had any concerns, they were well addressed by the management and staff in a positive way. Guardian provides the best menu with full of nutrition and healthy meals. I am very happy with this centre and glad to see my son growing and learning in such a beautiful and healthy environment.

Everything about these guys is wonderful. From their commitment to hitting learning and development milestones, to community engagement and a push towards sustainable business practices... but most importantly the way the educators are just fantastic with the kids. My 14mth old daughter has been attending here 3x per week pretty much since they opened and she absolutely loves it. She is calm, happy and comfortable in the environment and with all the carers. And I am calm and happy knowing she is loved, healthily well-fed, entertained and stimulated on the days she can't be at home. I seriously can't thank or recommend this center enough. "Exceeded my expectations" is an understatement. This is my daughter's home away from home.

An opportunity to play and discover with open-plan play in family groups and multi-age groupings.

Planned experiences. This is where the Guardian difference comes to life. Alongside our Educators your child’s exploration leads to learnings in numeracy, literacy, language, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, social skills, technology, creative arts and much more.

An opportunity for children to come together for a healthy snack, often they help prepare their food alongside our carers and chef.

Individually tailored to your child’s needs and curiosity the planned experiences continue, this includes both indoor and outdoor programs.

Guardian Childcare & Education Blackburn South is located in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. Our team enjoys a wonderful rapport that comes from knowing our children and families really well. We welcome children from six weeks through until just before they head off to school. Liaising closely with the local primary schools, we develop common goals and strategies to ensure your child’s transition to their big school adventure is smooth.
The foundation of our learning opportunities is built on real life experiences to delve deeper into each child’s wonderings about their world as we support each child become a respectful and passionate learner. Ashleigh and Matilda were always great in helping with casual days and assist where they can. Really appreciated this when there were days my little ones needed care. I will be bringing my kids back here in a few months and look forward to being part of the Guardian family again. Thanks Ashleigh for running the best childcare centre and kinder! Guardian Blackburn south is such a wonderful childcare facility. It feels so warm and welcoming like a home rather than a centre but also with such professionalism, energy and inspiration from the amazing staff. They are extremely nurturing and compassionate. My daughter joined in October and we have been nothing but impressed by the outstanding care our little girl has recieved. We feel reassured that our child is at a place where they will be safe, happy, cared for and will be enriched by a variety of both creative and structured learning. Their attention to detail is outstanding. I personally thank all the educators and the centre manager for putting in all their best possible efforts and supporting us!!!Highly recommend 👍

All the staff is very friendly and caring. The children look happy and comfortable there. We receive regular quality information about the children’s day and they really make an effort to include the child’s interest into their program. The activities are varied, fun and educational.

We've been attending since October 2020 and in particular, we're very happy with the continuity of care that our kids receive. With our families overseas, it's important to us that they know and develop good relationships with their educators and aren't trying to get to know new ones every few weeks. Compared to a previous centre, there's been very few staff changes and many of the staff have been there since we first joined. A new manager in the past few months has also led to better communication with families and efforts to create more of a community for the centre - which wasn't possible during Covid.

My little one has been at this childcare since she was 7 months old. It’s been more than a year and she enjoys it just the same! The centre management and her room educators have changed over time, but the culture of learning and having fun remains. The kids are looked after really well! Our toddler has been attending Guardian Blackburn South since Dec 2020 and has been enjoying his journey with the Guardian team since Day 1. My kids have been at guardian almost since it opened, and have had wonderful classroom experiences. Lately one of my kids has had some emotional issues, and her educators have been absolutely wonderful in talking and working with me to address what's going on, and help her. She has needed (and received) some extra attention and care, and I couldn't be more appreciative. I feel my daughter is genuinely cared about, which is my primary want in a childcare.

Our son has been attending Guardian Blackburn South since he was 7 months of age. He’s now 2 years old and we have no intention of leaving! The staff are truly phenomenal. I’ve always been confident in the care they have given to our boy - in fact I think they do a better of job of raising him than us! The children are always doing fun activities tailored to their development levels that we simply wouldn’t do at home - either because they’re too messy or we just aren’t creative enough to come up with it! And the meals are 5 star. The children eat better than we do at home - I feel guilty when the weekend comes and I serve up jam sandwiches or something equally boring out of a packet for his lunch. The staff recognise changes in his behaviour and work with us to help weather the storm. They also work with the kids on life skills like cleaning up after themselves. Most importantly, our son really loves his time there and comes home happy every day.

Guardian Blackburn south always goes above and beyond every day. From day one our daughter loved going to Guardian and loved her teachers,felt very comfortable and made lots of friends.The staff, the teachers are loving and caring and always attentive to the child's and the parents needs. They taught our daughter so many things and provided guidance.Some of the things amongst others were the importance of friendship and kindness and prepared her for Big school.I would like to personally thank Carol, Lyn and Megan and all the staff at Guardian Blackburn South for their amazing work. Our son's experience @ Guardian Blackburn South in 2019 and 2020 was amazing. He had a great relationship with his carers, from Tina, Jamie, Sarah, Jin Ting, Lyn, Carol, Roja, too many to mention. He always loved leaving the house in the morning, and hated leaving every day. He has made some great friends in his time, and he always has great stories at the end of every day. Congratulations :)

We have been so impressed by the quality of service and care for our two children by the staff at Guardian Blackburn South. Megan, the Centre Director is quick to respond to any queries. All staff are friendly, professional and child-centered. The Kinder teachers make the days fun and provide regular feedback. We feel very comfortable leaving our children there and my children love their childcare days.

We have been sending our child to Guardian from the very start and this center is no different. The management right from the top is very good. They continually engage children in lots of activities and are very responsive to parents requests.The teachers are always keen to spend time and talk to families even if for a minute or two.My child has always enjoyed going to the center and making good friends who they wants to see the next day.

We absolutely love this centre. The staff are all so friendly, experienced and caring. Their attention to detail have made this an extra special place for our son to grow and develop. They have also kept us connected throughout the closure and pandemic so that we continued to feel valued even though we could not attend the centre. The daily feedback is also very valued.

Such an amazing centre. Megan, the centre manager is wonderful, she is genuine and really cares about the children. The staff is very professional, well trained and caring. The staff make an effort to build connections with all children, even if they aren’t the educator for that age group. The centre is very homey,clean, and lots of outdoor playing area.And based on my experience, the staff turnover rate for this Centre is very low compared to other centres. I love this, so kids are able to grow and learn in a consistent approach!

My son is in the kinder room from January and I am absolutely happy with the education and care services, management, hygiene and safety, food and environment there. Big thanks and appreciation for excellent teachers and educators to raise my son in warm, welcomed and engaged environment. I like the learning concepts as my son every day has many things to share. My son Is going to Guardian blackburn south Since he was 4 month old and now he is 18 months old. I am very happy with the centre and the Staff members are always so friendly, caring and warm. My son shares a very good bond with the educators and misses them while he is home too. Blackburn south is managed in a very clean, hygiene and organised way. If I had any concerns, they were well addressed by the management and staff in a positive way. Guardian provides the best menu with full of nutrition and healthy meals. I am very happy with this centre and glad to see my son growing and learning in such a beautiful and healthy environment.

I had my son enrolled for a short time and while he was there I found the staff and educators very welcoming. His room leader Annie was beyond fantastic and he absolutely adored Paris. I loved that they made him feel so welcomed. 10/10 would recommend this centre.

My daughter has been attending this centre since it opened. We cannot be happier with the educators and management. We have been made to feel welcome, had our concerns listened to and we feel part of a wider community.We love the meals (well I should say our daughter loves the meals) and the detail that is paid to the education.Most of all we love the people, their kindness and how the love and care for our daughter.We would recommend this centre to anyone.

Everything about these guys is wonderful. From their commitment to hitting learning and development milestones, to community engagement and a push towards sustainable business practices... but most importantly the way the educators are just fantastic with the kids. My 14mth old daughter has been attending here 3x per week pretty much since they opened and she absolutely loves it. She is calm, happy and comfortable in the environment and with all the carers. And I am calm and happy knowing she is loved, healthily well-fed, entertained and stimulated on the days she can't be at home. I seriously can't thank or recommend this center enough. "Exceeded my expectations" is an understatement. This is my daughter's home away from home.
